***Foals up to 2 years old will be issued a temporary
registration certificate. Original owners of a registered foal may apply for
a permanent certificate after 2 years of age. Include required current photographs,
color changes, and any updated information. Send original certificate along
with a $5.00 filing and re-processing fee to AGHR and a new permanent
registration certificate will be issued.
If the foal was sold prior to permanent registration, a transfer of ownership form must be included along with applicable fees ($15.00 transfer plus $10.00 updating and filing fees = $25.00 total.).
Foals and yearlings should update their permanent registry file at age3 and 6 by sending new photographs and updated physical information to be included in their data file ). New certificates will be issued for $5.00 if accompanied by the original certificate, otherwise a $20.00 reissue fee will be charged for updating images and information. Only horses registered before their 2nd year are eligible for the $5.00 reissue fee at 3 and 6 years of age and only the original owners of the horse may receive the reduced fee. New owners may receive updated certificated of previously registered foals/yearlings for a $7.50 fee as long as the original certificate is returned with the application.
***Any certificate containing errors due to errors in the application will be corrected at the applicants expense. Errors due to AGHR will be replaced at our expense***
