- Stallion reports and filing fees are due by December 31st of the breeding year. Late fees will be assessed to the original fee for any reports filed after December 31st, and will only be accepted up to (1) one year late (prior to 12/31 of the following year).
- Mares being artificially inseminated must be listed on the stallion report as being artificially bred (AI).
- Participation in the AGHR breeding program is completely voluntary and in no way will affect the eligibility of any animal for registration.
***The owners of animals participating in this or any breeding program should carefully research all aspects of breeding horses, before considering to breed them. Make sure both sire and dam are free of any and all medical conditions or conformation faults. Consider only breeding animals that will greatly improve the breed/type, and not with out considering that a home must be found for the offspring, or the animal could possibly end up
joining countless neglected, abused, or slaughtered horses. This consideration should be first and
foremost in the thoughts of every responsible breeder!
